It was the first of May in the year in which the philosophy of Response was conceived by its founders Knight82, SGT_FaceLift, and Bigb0ngz2.  It was a doctrine which was established in "Response" (hence the name) to the lack of teamwork manifesting in public servers.  Thereafter, Response set course for ridding EA US Official East Coast servers of its inherent lack of teamwork.

Once this guise was removed, it revealed that these servers were a hotbed of talent.  Regulars of the server--legends in their own rights--joined our ranks.  A year and a half into the game and Electronic Arts pulled the plug on their servers.

The spark was lit.

Response started its own server, dubbing it EA US Official EC1R--hoping to still entice the original EA US Official player base.  It ran for several months.  Due to lack of population, it was re-hosted and renamed to be an experimental "Eat at Joes."  It turns out that E@J was quite a hit for a while and dragged in talent from all across the country.  E@J was eventually shut down.  The forum and the clan, however, held strong as ever.

After Joe's was shut down, Response sought to raid servers up and down the East Coast; making a name for ourselves across the Battlefield 2 community.  We became both hated and respected in a number of communities including:  =CF=, MoonGamers, Rubber Ducky, =US=. Legion at War, The Chicken Shack, Texas Team Players, Iron Sharpens Iron, NUNYA.

Alliances were formed (<3 =EL=).  Most naturally, enemies were made.

With the forthcoming of many new and exciting games, Response hopes to begin a new chapter in our clan's story.

Since our inception, Response has recruited the best of the best by means of team-play, attitude, and skill level.  To this day, we pride ourselves to be a group of stand-up guys (and girls) both on and off the field.
